Cristina Sanchez obtained her PhD with distinction in Biochemistry and Molecular Biology at the Universidad Complutense de Madrid in 2000, having integrated the research team of Manuel Guzmán.
His research seeks To describe and perceive the antitumor properties of cannabinoids in molecular terms, specifically in breast cancer.
Current Secretary and founder member of the Spanish Observatory of Medicinal Cannabis, Cristina Sanchez is still a member of the Board of Directors of the Spanish Society of Cannabinoid Research and Vice-Rector of Research of the Faculty of Biology of the University Complutense of Madrid.
