Physician Neuropediatrician Adi Aran began his research with cannabis to explore its effects at the neurocognitive level, including in epilepsy, sleep disorders and Autism Spectrum Syndrome. At Present, Aran is the main author of the first clinical trial on the efficacy and safety of Cannabidiol (CBD) in Autism, conducted in 2018 with 130 children and adolescents in Israel.

Adi Aran is still a professor at the Faculty of Medicine of the Hebrew University of Hadassah, Adviser to the Ministry of Health of Israel for medical cannabis, therapeutic indications and use in children, and spends much of his time teaching doctors and laypeople about The subject.
